I'm totally fine with that.
Looking geeky wasn't my hesitation for going to the eye doctor and, undoubtedly, being prescribed reading glasses. I wasn't hampered by the thought of being unattractive to anyone, least of all boys. Just being completely transparent here, glasses equalled "OLD" to me. I'm forty one and though I'm happier now than any of my previous decades, I just didn't want to have to be reminded of my age every time I had to see...anything.
